M. L. Wren .
Today my mom said: "You have such a belly"
Yesterday friend of mine commented my lips
"They're thin as a needle, but for some it's pretty"
"I hope you don't mind it, it's just my two cents"

Week ago, my classmate said that he'd be honest
"I'm sorry, but imho, I think you're bad-looking"
And last month I heard some guy that's not modest
"Look at that front hare-teeth, they are so big"

Six months ago, Dad was upset of my glasses.
Year ago, tutor said:"Before haircut looked better"
Two years, grandma said: "You're taller than dudes"
As teenager, always listened: "Your makeup, your lashes"

So now I stare and curse this flesh and blood,
I hate my looks, nose, skin, smile, tiny plait.
I never used to think that I'm no good,
But why, cause I didn't think like that in my childhood.
