M. L. Wren .
25.03.2026.

I miss you like the shore misses ocean at ebb.
I miss you like fans of a singer who left the band.
Like soldiers who miss far away from home,
I've never felt so alone, even not on my own.

I miss my branch like a fallen leaf.
I miss, like a loner on Christmas Eve.
Like something dear lost during a move,
Like a free wind in the silent grove.
And all these feelings caused by only you.

And although the joy of meeting feels sweet,
Soon I'll be afield again, on a thousand feet,
And I'll never forget how been waiting a lead,
Counting by the seconds my quiet heartbeat.

Like the lacking piece of a folded puzzle,
I'm always in need of your obverse to me.
Unbearably longing to feel your warm cuddle,
To finally let my feelings be free.
