Golden Light
You are amazing just as you are
As unique and bright like a perfect star
Believe in your worth and follow your heart
You have so much love and wisdom to impart
Shine your light for the World to behold
Your strength, your power, your truth in gold
The light in you will ripple and glow so bright
Illuminating the World and everyone’s starlight
The light will expand with pure hope and love
Bringing peace to the World on wings of a dove

The Path of Grief
The Path of Grief

My soul did stir in the darkest hour
To awaken my heart to the truest power
Be still my soul softly whispered to me
Hope is the key to set your sorrow free
We will walk together on the path of grief
That will try to steal light like a ragged thief
Embrace the light and the love once more
I will be beside you forevermore

Sacred Knot
Sacred Knot

I thought we had more time

But your soul cried out so sublime

I am tired now and want to sleep

Wrapped in angel wings so sweet

I have lived my life and done my best

Now comes my time to truly rest

The love that binds us will never fade

We will stay connected by a sacred braid

Though my body is gone, my soul is not

We are eternally linked by that sacred knot

Whenever you are lonely and in despair

Whisper my name and I will be there

The Unwavering Course
The Unwavering Course

The river never questions where to go

It knows its path and it naturally flows

It never questions why or how

The power of its course is all it knows

Flowing and flowing out to the sea

Free to be itself and to just be

Listen to the river and the lesson so true

Embrace your dream in its beautiful hue

Follow the passion sparked from your soul

Believe in your truth and you will find gold

Premonition
'Twas a year ago and the moon was bright
(Oh, I remember so well, so well),
I walked with my love in a sea of light,
And the voice of my sweet was a silver bell.

And sudden the moon grew strangely dull,
      And sudden my love had taken wing;
I looked on the face of a grinning skull,
I strained to my heart a ghastly thing.

'Twas but fantasy, for my love lay still
In my arms with her tender eyes aglow,
And she wondered why my lips were chill,
Why I was silent and kissed her so.

A year has gone and the moon is bright,
      A gibbous moon like a ghost of woe;
    I sit by a new-made grave to-night,
And my heart is broken--it's strange, you know.
Sonnet
Remember me when I am gone away,
  Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more, day by day,
You tell me of our future that you planned:
  Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
The Wanderer
I saw the sunset-colored sands,
The Nile like flowing fire between,
 Where Rameses stares forth serene,
And Ammon's heavy temple stands.

I saw the rocks where long ago,
Above the sea that cries and breaks,
 Bright Perseus with Medusa's snakes
Set free the maiden white like snow.

And many skies have covered me,
And many winds have blown me forth,
And I have loved the green bright north,
And I have loved the cold sweet sea.

But what to me are north and south,
And what the lure of many lands,
Since you have leaned to catch my hands
And lay a kiss upon my mouth.
nowhere but here
The boy wear eyes
that sadden the heart.
His face is battered,
clothes torn apart.
Fear is written all over his face,
there is no safety
in this perilous place.
The streets have hurt him,
have left him alone.
He has no one,
nowhere to go,
and nowhere to stay.

The girl is crying,
she doesn't understand
how hearts can harden
in this Promise Land.
The look at her,
yet through her.
Never a consoling face
does she encounter.
The streets left her
to fend on her own.
She has no one,
nowhere to go,
and nowhere to stay.

They stand together,
yet they stand alone.
Living in the streets,
the place they call home.
Begging for money
and stealing things to eat.
Running from others
to avoid being beaten.
Their only emotion is anger,
and it runs through their veins.
Passersby just ignore
and call them insane.
All they need is compassion
and love.
They need help from you
let love rain from above.
They need someone,
somewhere to go,
and somewhere to stay.
A Feeling
There is a feeling inside of me,
A feeling I can no longer keep under lock and key.

This feeling I've never felt so strong before,
Now keeps me longing for you more and more.

My friends say it is just a phase I'm going through.
But I hear you're going through it too.

The way my heart flutters like a flying dove
Makes me wonder if this is a phase ot is it love.
A child’s voice
I didn’t come here to see you cry
I came here to see the passion in your eye
Angry or sad, you always fought back the tears
But this time I don’t think you’re ready for next year
As the soft tone of your gentle voice flows through my ear
It makes me wonder : what will happen next year?
As we went to bed, I wanted to write a poem
So I thought, what rhymes with “oh my gosh”?
But then I realized, a poem doesn’t have to rhyme or not
It comes in an instant as you have a thought.
