The flowers withered where we stood,
Nothing remained of what we could.
The laughter faded into tears,
And happiness disappeared with the years.
I called your name into the rain,
Hoping somehow you'd return again.
But silence answered every plea,
A painful truth I couldn't see.
Now time moves on, but memories stay,
Like fading dreams that won't go away.
And though the world forgets our story,
I'll remember what was once our glory.
