Fallen love

Paul Kamau
All he wanted was love,
And from heaven she fell into his arms from above,
Love grew quick,
But he grew cold and her eyes saw but didn't speak,
Pain he offered,
With love she conquered,
Stress he gave,
Endurance she behaved,
But he made a mistake,
One he always had to remake,
But this time it was serious,
This time she wouldn't return it was obvious,
I made her leave,
Like a tree with its dried up leaves,
I wish she knew,
My heart in my dreams still grew.
