The World Can Wait

The evening sky is calm and deep,
The world around is fast asleep,
After the rain, the earth smells new,
With little drops like stars on view.
The flowers bloom without asking why,
They don't rush, they don't ask the sky,
We were just too busy to be still sometimes,
Running after endless chimes.
Just a little silence, just a little me,
Let the world wait, let my heart be free.
