Hands to the Plow

Anthony Chandler
A working black woman who has never failed to provide and nurture my wildest dreams
Even when my means was low, your steadfast support exceeded any lack of greenbacks
Through backtracks and mishaps, your grace and skill pays all of my hearts bills
Deep in the forest of cooking, cleaning, caring, while silently communicating your will
I am not only motivated to touch and work for you but live to give you everything you need
How is it that your soft hands work to make a house a home so quickly and smartly
Let me massage your back and rub your feet before the day ends
Thank God for this woman who makes life a breeze my best friend
Hands to the plow always with a smile willing to go the distance
Thank you for going the extra mile all while mataining that lovely smile.
