Three Haiku for a Long Drive

First Verse
Mile marker ninety.
The radio finds a church
and then loses it.

Rest stop at midnight.
Two trucks idling like whales
agreeing on something.

Sun comes up behind.
My own shadow on the road
finally ahead.
