Spoken Word Piece for a Room of Eleven People

First Verse
Look -
I am not going to pretend
that eleven is a crowd.

But eleven is not nothing.
Eleven is a jury.
Eleven is the number of people
who could have been anywhere else on a Tuesday
and chose a folding chair and a bad microphone
and me.

So I am going to do the whole set.
I am going to do it like the room is full,
because the room IS full -
full of eleven people,
which is exactly one hundred percent
of everyone who came.

And if that is small,
then let me be small correctly.
Let me be the size I actually am,
loudly,
on purpose,
in front of eleven witnesses.
